This Night is our new Christmas song. At St. Joseph's Parish in Vancouver, WA we played the song this year at the Christmas Vigil. The kids choir, along with a woodwind ensemble, backed up.

Who is this guy?
Mr. Meyer is the father of four daughters and the Sunday School music leader at his parish in Tempe, Arizona. His music project, Graceful Ruckus, is a collection of original songs written for kids under about 9, but the entire family is sure to enjoy them, as well. His events bring the families together to jump and praise, with a special message for all the dads. While the little ones will jump for joy, Mom and Dad will find themselves tapping along to the beat, too!
And...
It all started after college with a two year detour into Up With People, where Mr. Meyer toured throughout Mexico, Australia and North America. He was even one of those half-time show guys at Superbowl 25. Eventually, he picked up a guitar and taught himself the basics, which led to playing in backyards, bars, and church on Sunday. Then came the opportunity to lead the Sunday School music. So the company man became the music man.
There are six kids on the recording, but the project was truly inspired by the hundreds of little ones that jumped and praised their way through Sunday School at Christ the King Church in Richland, Washington. The children inspired the songs and made the corporate guy's dream come true! Anyway, back to the kids on the CD. Six beautiful voices from 5-11 years old anchored the sound. Watch out American Idol!

Big Sunday is our weekly kids’ ministry project. At Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Tempe, Arizona, a group of dads catalyzed a new movement. That’s right... the Sunday job of Dad is normally keeping watch over the football scores or mowing the lawn. Now dads are taking over the Sunday kids’ liturgy and calling it Big Sunday!
